Who we are

Pekter Ltd ("PEKTER", "we") provides electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning services. This policy covers this website and the PEKTER team app.

What we collect

• Booking requests from this website: name, phone, email, address, postcode, job details and preferred times.
• Customers: contact details, job records, photos of the work, certificates, quotes, invoices and payments.
• Our team: name, email, working hours, job reports and photos taken on site.
• Accounting: if the director connects QuickBooks Online, the app reads expenses and invoice balances and creates invoices in our own QuickBooks company. We only access our own company's data.

Why we use it

To reply to enquiries, book and carry out work, keep job and safety records, send reports and invoices, get paid, and keep our accounts. The legal bases are carrying out a contract with you, our legal obligations (for example tax and safety records) and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Who we share it with

Only with services we use to run the business: Google Firebase (hosting and data storage, servers in the UK/EU), Google Workspace (email) and Intuit QuickBooks (accounts). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Job, certificate and accounting records are kept for at least 6 years, as required for tax and building regulations. Booking requests that do not become a job are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@pekter.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
